Maji Safi is a Ugandan purified-water company, founded and run in Makindye, Kampala — built around one idea: the jar that comes back.
Clean water shouldn't cost the city a mountain of plastic.
A Kampala household can go through dozens of 500 ml bottles a week. One 20-litre Maji Safi refill holds the same water as about forty of them — in a single jar that returns, gets washed, and gets filled again.
That's the whole model. Better water in fewer containers, at a rhythm that works for real homes and real offices.
Our facility runs a 6,000-litre-per-hour purification line combining advanced media filtration, activated carbon and ultrafiltration — with every batch quality-checked and signed off before release.
The water is independently lab-tested to EAS 12:2018 and WHO guidelines, and the operation is built to UNBS standards — now in the final certification stage.
Maji Safi was started by two founders who believed Kampala deserved water it could trust — produced locally, tested independently, and delivered in a way the city can sustain.
